Carrie Underwood Launches Play On Tour Tonight in Pennsylvania
Carrie Underwood highly-anticipated Play On tour launches Thursday, March 11 in Reading, Pennsylvania with special guests Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia. Fans attending this trek can expect a first-rate show from the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year. Carrie's enlisted the production designer from Michael Jackson's This is It concert film, Michael Cotten, for the show, as well as Emmy-winning costume designer Soyon An. Carrie will also get closer to her fans than ever before with a very special surprise during the concert.
Since skyrocketing to fame in 2005 as an American Idol champ, Carrie has worked with the best teams in the business to keep her career on track. Whether it is her new tour, making an album or performing on TV, Carrie always credits those around her with making her look good. She says, "There's a lot of work that goes into a tour...It's a really good surprise to find out how many people it does take, and everybody's great." So Far, Carrie's Play On tour runs through a June 20th date in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A fall trek is expected to launch later this year.
